Job Description Junior PHP Programmer

Job Summary

The Junior programmers will be responsible for building, deploying and maintaining various client websites. They will work under the supervision of a senior programmer.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Analysis and Design: They will analyze the clients requirements and design the project. They will also prepare documentation during the initial phase.
• Writing Code: They will write the code necessary to develop the application.
• Debugging: Debugging, troubleshooting of the program and recording the results to identify the possible problems in the application.
• Documentation: Creating functional requirements for the project, and basic user manual for the project if required.
• Training the end user: Help in training the end users with the application once the application is built.
• Maintenance and Application upgrade: Perform backups, bug fixes and functionality enhancements as and when required.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

The Junior programmer will be proficient in both front end and back end web technologies.

Following are the desired Technical skills. Though we dont expect the junior programmer to be proficient in all of these, a good knowledge of the fundamentals of web programming is expected. all additional knowledge can be bonus.
